European digital satellite TV channels, where do you start here.

Well there's literally thousands of channels to pick from, some free, some require an official subscription, each need a particular size dish according to which satellite and transponder they are being transmitted from.

It may help to check a couple of websites here that list these satellites and all the available channels on them and their encryption status.
